The Dongtai wind power project developed by Guohua Company in Jiangsu Province was, at the time, the world’s largest single-unit wind power project. In the Guohua (Dongtai) wind power project, CEEG’s brand reputation, product quality, and service capability were highly recognized by the bid evaluation committee, ultimately standing out and successfully securing the 200MW wind farm project. The contract included 41 European-style prefabricated substations, with a total value of RMB 14 million. The project owner highly praised CEEG’s wind power-specific substations for their outstanding advantages in design, operation, and maintenance convenience.
The Huitengxile 163.1MW wind farm in Inner Mongolia placed a one-time procurement of 27 units of CEEG European-style prefabricated substations, with a total contract value of RMB 7.7 million. Since commissioning, the equipment has demonstrated highly stable operation performance. The wind farm has expressed strong satisfaction with the products’ excellent weather resistance, ease of operation, and maintenance-free characteristics, confirming their suitability for harsh wind power environments.
The Xiaolangdi Water Control Project on the Yellow River is a large-scale, nationally key water conservancy hub project approved by the State Council. It integrates multiple functions, including flood control, ice flood prevention, sediment reduction, irrigation, water supply, and power generation. Considering brand reputation, product quality, service capability, as well as safety and environmental protection requirements, the project headquarters selected CEEG dry-type transformers jointly developed with DuPont, including Nomex paper-insulated non-encapsulated dry-type transformers, SG10 air self-cooled series, and SCB10 air-cooled series. These products provided reliable electrical support for the project’s safe and stable operation.
The Ling’ao Nuclear Power Station in Guangdong is a key national nuclear energy project with extremely stringent requirements for suppliers and product quality. CEEG was the sole successful bidder for dry-type transformers in the project, supplying epoxy resin SCB dry-type transformers with a total contract value of RMB 7.45 million. Over the four-year period following 2006, CEEG provided comprehensive dry-type transformer power solutions for the Ling’ao Nuclear Power Station, supporting its safe and stable operation.
The Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant 300,000 kW unit is China’s first nuclear power station independently developed, designed, constructed, and managed by its own capabilities. During operation, the plant places extremely strict requirements on equipment selection due to its highest-level safety considerations. CEEG transformers stood out in the bidding process for their outstanding safety and reliability, gaining recognition from multiple experts and successfully winning the contract. In Phase I, CEEG supplied high-performance SCB epoxy resin-cast dry-type transformers, which have maintained stable and reliable operation to date.
